Duties and responsibilities
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team that works on developing a digital-twin for
pharmaceutical Hot Melt Extrusion (HME)
Plan, run and evaluate HME experiments in order to generate validation data
Develop a database of HME excipients and extruders needed for process simulations
and process scale-up
Introduce new physical phenomena as part of our in-house Smoothed Particle
Hydrodynamics (SPH) and 1D HME simulation codes
Work on hands and industrially relevant research
Requirements
A technical or natural scientific MS degree (Process Engineering, Chemical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Physics or
similar)
Knowledge in HME, SPH as well as basic knowledge in programing languages
(Phyton, C++, MATLAB) as an advantage
Professional conduct and communication skills in dealing with international clients,
partners and colleagues
Interest and experience in performing top-level and target-oriented research at the
interface of basic science and industrial application
