Job Responsibilities

Work in a cleanroom laboratory as part of the Process Engineering team supporting new product development, characterizing current process applications, and performing customer demos
Operational proficiency of clean processing equipment and wafer metrology tools
Along with engineering team, prepare equipment and execute test plans
Analyze and interpret data to draw inferences and make recommendations
Perform baseline qualifications of lab tools, identify problems, and work with appropriate team to resolve issues
Assist engineers in execution, data collection and test reporting of customer demos

Minimum Qualifications

Bsc in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or other relevant education. Alternatively, instead of a BSc you could bring your relevant technical college education and 2+ years of applicable work experience, preferably in semiconductor/electronics industry
Familiarity with working in a chemical laboratory
Interest in advanced technology and an ongoing desire to learn
Good problem solving and data analysis skills
Good communication skills and ability to write engineering test reports, including analysis, conclusions and follow-up actions
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Ability to work in a team

Employment in Austria

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group E.

A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The chosen candidate will be hired through a third party employment.
