We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist (m/f/x) with a focus on Python and Machine Learning. Our company works in the area of digital publishing and helps customers from multiple industries to successfully shape their digital transformation in a sustainable way. Currently, we are conducting a research project in the field of Reinforcement Learning.

Your responsibilities include

• Develop models and algorithms in connection with our research project STRG Agents
• Extend STRG’s machine learning libraries for usage in research and customers projects
• Implement proofs-of-concept in Python or TypeScript
• Help our frontend team in creating sophisticated data visualisations
• Work with agile SCRUM teams (data scientists and experts)

REQUIREMENTS

• Formal education in informatics, mathematics, or computer science
• Well-versed in Python and various machine learning libraries such as sklearn, pandas, matplotlib, etc.
• Familiarity with Reinforcement Learning
• Familiarity with software engineering best practises
• Familiarity with version control and devops practises
• Desirable: familiarity with TypeScript or other statically typed programming languages

• We offer an annual gross salary of € 70,000 according to the collective agreement based on the Austrian law. Depending on your individual professional qualifications and previous experience your salary could be significantly higher.
