Duties and responsibilities


In-depth analysis of process data with statistical and machine learning methods 
Development of models to predict quality attributes 
Support of model testing in our pilot plant environment 
Develop algorithms for image segmentation 
Present findings and results in an academic or business environment

Requirements


A technical or natural scientific MS degree or PhD in Mathematics, Computer
Science or a related field 

Extensive knowledge of data processing and presentation in Python 
Good knowledge of statistics 
Good knowledge of common machine learning models (Regression, Decision Trees,

Neural Networks) 
Professional conduct and communication skills in dealing with international clients,

partners and colleagues 
Interest and experience in performing top-level and target-oriented research at the

interface of basic science and industrial application
