Job Duty

• To assist in thematic research on the subjects of visual art, digital art, education, marketing, venue management and customer services
• To assist in writing and editing text for venue management, exhibitions and programmes
• To assist in the preparation of various reports for survey or documentation
• To assist with online programmes and studio base programmes;
• To assist on regular updating of websites, e-news any ad-hoc announcement;
• To perform supportive customer services and guide public groups for viewing exhibitions;
• To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors

Qualifications & Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university, majoring in Museum Studies, History of Chinese Art/Western Art, Art Education, Fine Arts, Design, Cultural Studies, Humanities, or equivalent;
• Met the language proficiencies requirement of Level 2 in English and Level 1 in Chinese in CRE or equivalent;
• At least 2 years of relevant full-time work experience in museum or cultural institute;
• Special qualification on applied art, e.g. in Ceramics/Printmaking/Sculpture or equivalent; or professional qualification on technical skill or equivalent would be an add-on value for consideration;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage;
• Good knowledge in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese Word Processing
