CRM Strategy & Merchant Engagement Manager-Vorstellungsgespräch

    Bewerbung

Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte 5 Wochen. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Dezember 2021 bei Uber (Sydney (Australien)).

    Vorstellungsgespräch

I interviewed with Uber Eats and overall experience involved 3 rounds. Round 1 was with HR on the phone, 2nd round was with a manager and team member via zoom; and third round was a presentation, again, via Zoom with 3 managers.

The 2nd round was okay, but seemed like the interviewers were under-prepared with questions, and at times it looked like they were looking at their second screens. It was distracting as it felt they were busy, or maybe I wasn’t engaging. But to my surprise they asked me back for round 3.

The presentation involved 3 tasks, and I had a week to prepare. Tasks included:
    - define 4 guiding principles that will shape your engagement strategy
    - create a merchant education program
    - prepare a go to market plan for sponsored ads

The task is a great way to research and understand business opportunities.

The interview was scheduled a day before Christmas Eve, and I assumed the final candidates were presenting at the same time. I found out later the other candidate presented in the 2nd week of Jan. In hindsight I wish I also asked for extra time, as I felt I rushed it.

On the plus side, it’s the first interview I experienced where I could book the interview times myself via an online system, and provide feedback as soon as the process was done. The HR recruiter was great in giving updates throughout the process, and final feedback; and the 3 person panel were very friendly for the presentation.

I noticed the job was readvertised a few weeks later, with minor amends to title and position description. At the outset I knew it was a role that would have been a stretch for me, so I’m glad I went through the experience, and made it as far as I did.

    • Tell us a little bit about yourself; why did you apply for this role and what do you enjoy most; tell me about a time when you managed a CRM strategy and how did you approach measuring metrics; and how would you manage multiple key stakeholders to create a piece of communications.   Frage beantworten
