    Overworked, underpaid (you sign on with an annual salary, told you will only work certain hours. Then they work you 60+ hours a week and suddenly you're making less than minimum wage)

    None I would say you get paid weekly but they don't pay for work done

    They don't pay for the work you do then sent you back to do things that weren't on the work order to being with

    Pay your vendor what you owe them and check your work orders if you want something done put it in there the first time

    Pros

    The only pro for me was that they pay weekly through direct deposit, so the money was always in my account on Friday mornings.

    This company offers very little training, and expects the world from their employees. The last review tries to tell you that they do offer a work-life balance, and that "if you are afraid of hard work, long hours to get the job done" then this isn't the job for you....No, its more than that... People are REQUIRED to stay 12+ hours while being barked at all day long from a manger yelling across the office all day. More than one person has been told they should probably come in a 1am some days so they can get caught up on their work, even tho they already put in more than 12 hours a day. If management hired and TRAINED staff appropriately, people wouldn't have to work 12+ hours a day 6 days a week.

    The company has several different departments, trying to ultimately accomplish the same goal...yet none of the departments work together or communicate with each other. This creates tension and animosity throughout the office. I worked for this company for just a short time, but never once was I introduced to any of the members of management. Steve Johnson is the owner, I believe he sat less than 100' away from me, but couldn't say for sure. I saw him in the break room one day and said hello, only to be ignored.

    My biggest issue was the way they estimate for repairs needed on properties. Does the word guestimate scare you? It should....this company can not possibly make money repairing properties by guessing what repairs are needed, guessing room dimensions, guessing what might be wrong with such HUGE dollar items such as plumbing, electric, and HVAC and even structural issues. Yet that is how they choose to run their business. Having people who's "expertise" comes from watching HGTV look through pictures, provided from someone across the country, guess at what they think should be done. (and, if you guess wrong, the company sill has to do the repairs at their own cost...losing money)

    Take this as a sign...in the short time I was there, I LITERALLY saw at least TWENTY people quit or be fired!!! The company pays below average as well. This is a huge sign of poor management. There is also a large sign of greed from upper management...even shown through the items stocked in the vending machine (by owners) and the price charged for those items.

    I would like to see the company improve and succeed, I made a couple of friends while working there and would like for them to be able to go to work and not worry every day about whether they will still be employed there the next week, because that is the genuine fear employees have on a daily basis at TruAssets.

    The most successful of companies know that if you take care of your employees, they will take care of you. I wish I would have felt like management even cared one ounce about the staff on "the floor".

    Pros

    Paid weekly
    CEO is out on the floor talking to employees more than managers (however his "talks" with employees are not usually positive)

    Kontras

    Terrible management in local office - they are in their offices all day then just "pop" out to tell you what you are doing wrong and go back into their office.
    Pay - like they paid their vendor(s) and contractor(s) terribly for the work expected, they paid their office staff just as bad and expect employees to work 60-70 hours a week (usually 9-10 hours a day in the office then 2-3 hours at night from home)
    No concept of work and life balance.
    Don't care if you have personal issues that you have to tend to, they expect you to work your shift then deal with personal issue(s).
    A LOT of turn over and it does not bother management, they just hire the next body off the street to fill a seat (or move people from one department to another)

    Take the time to listen to employees with an open mind as they are reason you make your money at the end of the year. They know what is going on day to day. If you are asking them to work 6 days a week and 10-11 hours a day, pay them accordingly.

    Retirement cause you don't have a clue how to run a business. You know how to cheat people out of there money. By the way how much did you pay the people to give you a good review

    Helpful with work orders, quickly responding to calls when needing assistance.

    Lots of windshield time, very demanding, a lot of follow up jobs.

    There's only 3 or 4 people in upper management we speak to on a daily basis, if you have a good relationship with management then you'll have a successful employment. Certain clients are very demanding for such little payment.

    Pros

    Have to say one of the best and well paying companies I have worked for. For all the complaints on pay. Your pictures are your pay. Yes I have had some pay troubles but once you get your pictures down and always get your pay pre approved I have not had troubles. State coordinators are great to work with and do have understanding on how us vendors need to operate and make profits unlike some other companies I worked for. Enjoy working here and plain on staying here.

    hmmm, would have to say for the state coordinators to answer the phone more promptly. I know they have alot on their plates also but us vendors cant afford to sit onsite for 30 mins before hearing back. Recently i noticed this problem had improved though.

    cool work environment at first , the pay is good , employees alright

    unless your cool with the team leads or higher management you'll do great if not your screwed , trick handymen to work countless hours and get paid horribly i cant believe i tricked so many hard working ppl to work for this horrible company i don't recommend it don't apply any one who stays longer than 6 months must be related to the upper management or screwing them! this place is a joke
