    Pros

    Simon-Kucher is a growing company with a great team. There is a shared entrepreneurial spirit from the bottom to the top. People are given greater responsibility as soon as they are ready for it. And, in spite of how busy they are, colleagues are always willing to take time to help you learn things you've never done before.

    The leadership team values open communication and legitimately cares about growing talent from within. Managers also enjoy showcasing junior talent to senior leadership, fostering a constructive culture of growth and accomplishment.

    This company is a great place if you want to be more than just another consultant. It's a chance to have a real impact on your clients while also having a big impact on where you work.

    Kontras

    Being an entrepreneurial company means that there is always more work to do. If you're not prepared to have thoughtful conversations with mid-level and senior members of the company about how to avoid burnout, it's easy to get overwhelmed.

    Pay is a little low for the industry, and the company brand is undervalued in the US. Folks who don't have a handle on the aforementioned worklife balance out get much more frustrated about these things.

    Compensation lower than peers, lack of training, too focused on a niche (pricing) which after a couple of years become quite redundant
