Ich habe in Vollzeit bei Rogue Fitness gearbeitet (Über 3 Jahre)

    Pros

They practice what they preach. American Made. A livable wage. Health and fitness. If you take pride in your work, you'll fit right in.

    Kontras

If you're used to mediocrity and getting by on the bare minimum, this is not the job or career for you. Expect criticism: it builds character

    Rat an das Management

I think sticking to the program and company goals is exactly what you should be doing right now. I wish you every good thing.

Ich arbeite in Vollzeit bei Rogue Fitness (mehr als ein Jahr)

    Pros

Only work here if you need a paycheck or have no options

    Kontras

Culture of fear and disrespect that starts at the very top. Warped since of bravado that is a complete farce. “Everyone put their boots on the same way” is a joke, you’ll learn that as soon as you step outside your lane. Owners are completely egotistical and apathetic to their work force. They are too good to talk to the people and walk around to intimidate and make employees feel small. All young professionals need to avoid Rogue, not a resume builder, you won’t learn how the real world works. Read these reviews and believe them, the Brand is a facade it doesn’t mirror the hellish reality.

Ich habe in Vollzeit bei Rogue Fitness gearbeitet (Weniger als ein Jahr)

    Pros

Wow. Pros, really? The only pro I can think of is that it's obvious that the Rogue warehouse is very well financed and uses all the latest technology. It's also obvious that they have alot of money. That's literally the only good thing I can say about it.

    Kontras

Literally everything. Rogue Fitness and everything the company stands for is a complete joke. Their name brand of "Rogue" is a joke, it's hilarious, and it is so, so overrated. The managers aren't smart at all and aren't ethical, they think they're so cool and so "big and bad" when they truly aren't worth anything. The managers are here are very disrespectful...they don't care about hard work or know what hard work even is, they don't care about their employees, and they don't know what real life is truly all about. I have very good reason for why I'm saying all of this, all of these things that I'm mentioning have been proven to me very blatantly and very strongly during the 2 DAYS that I worked here.

Here's what happened at Rogue...me and a group of new hires who started on the same day were put in a department where you are preparing and organizing Rogue workout equipment on the pallets and then staging and preparing the pallets and shrink wrapping them. This is all we'd be doing for an entire shift. We were all working together as a team the whole time, doing what was asked and we were all getting along just fine. Nothing seemed or felt like there was something wrong. The whole time we were there, there was very little communication between supervisors/managers, and us regular employees. The supervisor that did talk to us at the beginning of our shift didn't really say anything much to us for the rest of the shift.

On the 2nd DAY (and I have the word day capitalized to emphasize that this happened on the 2nd day, not the 2nd week or 2nd month) a manager that I have never seen before approached me and my hire group while we were working and tells us that we are all to clock off and leave when lunch break comes and our shift will end at lunch break. When I asked whether or not we come back tomorrow or whether or not this means we're terminated, this particular manager then very nonchalantly says: "I don't know for sure, but I'm thinking most likely after today you guys are completely done and don't come back here at all. We have a group of new hires starting tomorrow. And actually, if you guys want to, you can clock off right now if you want. You can either clock off now, or you can clock off when lunch break comes. Either way you guys can't stay past lunch." And then without saying anything more, he very calmly and casually walks away as if he couldn't care any less about what he just did, or as if he didn't see the severity of the situation. And this happened approximately 2-3 hours into our shift, sometime before lunch break. Me and my hire group just stood there speechless not knowing what to say or do.

The end result of this was, all of us were actually terminated and were not to go back to work at Rogue after that day. But for what? After just 2 days? Everything about this whole incident feels like this goes way beyond just firing employees, this truly felt like straight up disrespect and felt like the type of scenario of managers treating their employees like trash "just because they can" type of thing. If anyone else has anything bad to say about the management at Rogue or about working at Rogue, they really aren't lying. We weren't even allowed to at least finish the full 2nd day, we had to clock off at lunch. And this manager did say "Or you can just clock off now and go home now" as if he really couldn't care any less about whether or not we stayed until lunch break or not. How unprofessional. How in the world are you going to fire us after just a day and a HALF of working when we worked the entire time and we did what were were instructed to do, and there were no issues, no conflicts, and no communication about anything between anyone? I've been cheated out of getting a full 40 hour work week on my paycheck because of this happening. This manager claiming to have a group of "new hires" the next day like he "claims" doesn't have anything to do with firing employees who currently work there, and doesn't really qualify as a real, valid reason to fire an employee. Trust me, I've worked many jobs before and seen many groups of employees get hired at the same job as I have sometimes even during the same week or the next week of me getting hired, and I'd still be working there. The thing is, I don't even normally write reviews. But what happened here was so completely wrong and so absolutely ridiculous, to the point where I feel compelled to say something about it and have what happened be let known. I'll also add the fact that this happened at the Rogue Warehouse at the Columbus, OH location so that everyone is aware. How Rogue works, how they treat their employees, and what their business practices are needs to be let known so that people can know to avoid this place. The managers there don't know what hard work really is. They don't care. Rogue really showed how disrespectful and unethical they truly are. Rogue is a joke. If you don't want to get treated like trash, stay far FAR away from Rogue. There are much better jobs out there with much better managers worth your time.

    Rat an das Management

I have nothing more to say. Read the "cons" section.

Elite Facilities. Working for a "cool" company. Good pay, vacation, and decent benefits.

    Kontras

Cancerous leadership and management style. Micromanaged environment from the top down. Managers being critiqued by the hour, not week/month/quarter. No say in strategy or even small process changes.

Retain the top talent that you are bringing in by letting them contribute instead of just having them be product drones.
