    The owner and management team don't care about the employees at all. You are nothing but a cog in wheel to make them more money.

    Pros

    They allow you to make up your time, they have a play area, they have snacks you don't have to worry about money it comes our most of your check, the have prizes for top collectors.

    Kontras

    Lunch break too short, systems constantly too slow or not operating correctly, No privacy because no barrier's to block out employee voices when on the phone with a customer, after your breaks no time for using the bathroom , the unprofessionalism of management and the employees, the pettiness among employees while we worked there was amazing

    They need to be trained and know that gossiping about others is not professional, allowing others to get preference over others with seniority is unfair, expecting employees to kiss up to you is not ethical

    You can move up quick, if you are a dedicated employee.

    Kontras

    The current/only CEO puts business before employees. I.e. Closing for weather, then charging everybody a personal day. If you find a problem, you're expected to solve it too. And then the CEO takes the credit. You have no way to get your name out there, because he's just about the only one who speaks with the owner.

    Care about your employees. Some of them have been there 30 years and just get a rocking chair at retirement. Do a 401k match like every other company in NY. Benefits are way too pricy for your average employee when the company does not pitch in.

    Supervisor gossip to much and the fire ppl for basically anything. The BIGGEST CON is the LOW PAY RATE. U HAVE TO MKA GOAL IN ORDER TO GET 15. AGENT with bad call quality all bcaz the made was required. Other call centers get the same pay with daily goal the hv to meet

    Give all agents the respect and deal with them all the same. Higher pay otherwise it will be a place ppl just pass thru for experience to move on to am another more secure job.

    The owners son is one of the best bosses by far. He shows appreciation to the staff and has fun with reward challenges each month. Great staff from management to supervisors to agents that fit the mission and culture at the workplace. I've learned and grown so much being here!

    I have nothing bad to say about the company. I've seen a big turn around since expanding and improving on the company.

    Pros

    The staff is great, everyone is really nice
    Fun contests in the call cneter
    Office environment with your own workspace
    No working on the weekends or odd hours

    Kontras

    The customers can be hard to handle at times
    I wish the pay rate was higher although its a lot better than retail

    I think the management team is strong. However, I think there could be an improvement with the supervisor staff. Overall though, the supervisors and managers are friendly and knowledgeable.

    Pros

    Hours are ok (830am to 5pm or 1130am to 8pm). Tribal atmosphere as agents are put into teams where with good work you can win different challenges each month. Nice office space as you are not crammed in. Ok equipment....

    Kontras

    I cannot stress what I am about to say enough... this place is 100% Gossip. Not 25%, not 50% but 100% Gossip. Most of this comes from the supervisors (who run the teams in the office). If you are not apart of the "clique" you will be ostracized quickly. Furthermore, the policies change often and with that so can the communication which is lackluster to say the least. You can be written up for the smallest of things which in most cases can turn into a "FINAL WARNING" without prior knowledge.

    Honestly, get rid of the gossip in the company. Yes, you will lose a lot of employees and some supervisors, but it will be for a greater good. If not, the company will continue to stumble and falter...no matter if you change the "culture" or not. In addition, all members of management need to be a united front and not play favorites.

    Pros

    Nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch. Nothing good to say about this place. Well if you go to work for friends it's fine, but if not you may want to apply to a REAL job. Oh and maybe one good thing, you get 10 paid holidays a year, but even that won't feel like enough after working here more than a month. If you decide to work here DO NOT work in the call center.

    The rules change DAILY. There are hardly any benefits. You can get fired for just about anything but when it comes to doing well they don't have much to say to you. You can have perfect attendance, call quality at 100%, and still only get a $1 raise after 3 months because you missed the next tier by $100. There is absolutely no opportunity for growth their unless you are a "friend" to management. Oh yeah and your supervisors will be just as lost as you are when it comes to questions/issues. If you go to 4 people with a question you WILL get 4 totally different answers and have to chose one and hope you don't get fired for it. They time you to use the bathroom, this time cuts into one of your 15 min breaks. You have to do silly challenges monthly with your team. You're more or less treated like a child. It feels like jail ... It is jail.

    Start people at a higher pay and maybe there wouldn't be so much turnover. It's kind of hard getting cursed out everyday, for 8-11 hrs, for $11. Treat your employees better, the fun doesn't mask the inconsistencies. We're all hip to the RMCB way, and all one good interview and callback away from quitting.

    A positive change since the owner's son took control of the company, a better atmosphere, less grey areas.

    Kontras

    No commission, I understand a salary increase was given but the commission was removed. I used to make more money when a commission structure was running.

    Look into giving some benefits to the employees. A matching 41K, a health insurance that the employees of all level can afford and at least a yearly bonus since there is no commissions.

    The agents are awesome people to work with, the agents is what make the company bearable to work at and the competitions we have.

    Kontras

    The company does not care about any of their employees unless you are part of the clique the upper management approves or if they are buddies outside of work. Favorites are well know at the company. Always feel like you will be fired, stressful, not the job itself but the company, upper management. attitudes. you are a disposable puppet that can get fire at any time for any reason with no warning. company is money hungry and if you not make them money they dont need you.

    Learn some loyalty to the employees. Stop bringing personal feelings to work, become helpful sand knowledgeable.
