Ich habe in Vollzeit bei Publicis Health gearbeitet (Weniger als ein Jahr)

    Pros

Interviewing was a snap! You'll know if they like you, because they'll coach you through it.

    Kontras

The interview and CSL/MSL job description is misleading at best, and upon entering into the contract with Publicis Health on behalf of AstraZeneca the Publicis Manager will micromanage your every move, and ultimately is there to serve the clients interests, not the employee. Don't look for Publicis to help you out with the client, like in this situation with AstraZeneca.

A lot of behind the scenes gossip, lack of empathy, and diminunizing your professional assets. It's beyond brown-nosing, rather they're looking for someone who is willing to be paid a decent hourly rate, to work not just the set 8am-5:30pm, but work into your evenings and over the weekend. As we all know, this dilutes your profits and leaves you without many alternatives professionally and socially.

If you question they're demands, they'll start building a case against you with frivolous complaints, verbal and written. This must happen quite frequently, because the manager will bring HR in on every phone or Skype conversation, which is never respectful of a professional's time, hard work and intelligence.

The best advice to you, if you're looking at going through a contract agency to work for a large company/corporation, DON'T DO IT! Serving 2 masters is twice the headaches, and they'll just leave you out to dry. Publicis is very good at playing this game.

Just apply directly to whichever company you're interested in, and if you know someone in that company, that's always going to put you on a good note with them.

Lastly, CSL/MSL jobs in Biopharma are a "DEAD-END JOB!!" If you don't possess a doctoral degree, they will just work you to death, then replace you. So, keep up your clinical work on the side, otherwise they’ll leave you stranded. And as an observation, diversity is not hiring primarily Caucasians and Asians, so don't look for a fair shake in this company.

    Rat an das Management

Toxic! There is no amount of advice that would reverse the endemic nature of this toxic work environment, and for those who disagree, well, they're probably in too deep and sipping that nectar right along with the rest of them that "just need" this job.
Furthermore, this is a primarily British company, fronting as a U.S. establishment, so they do not empathize with American values or the lifestyle.

    Pros

You’re paid in American currency .Depending on which company you’re with, there’s some business, benefits are good

    Kontras

Basically employees are lined items on an excel sheets. Lots of layoffs, you can’t really trust anyone, constantly worrying about timesheets...you can’t fully bill... lack of transparency

    Rat an das Management

Try not to make the place suck anymore than it does already... you’ve really ruined a perfectly good company, oh yeah, by all means spend some more money on Marcel

    Pros

The culture in this organization is absolutely top notch. They are a people first, employee centric company that communicates consistently and clearly.

    Kontras

Contract based organization so majority of positions are tied to a limited-program term.

    Rat an das Management

Middle level management gets lost in the shuffle. You have a tremendous bench of talent and you should commit increased effort to getting to know them and discovering their thoughts and ideas about growing the business.

Ich arbeite in Vollzeit bei Publicis Health (mehr als ein Jahr)

    Pros

    - Real Science has high standards for content and review processes that help writers grow in skill – I feel that my writing skills have jumped up a few notches since starting here. I would definitely recommend it for writers who want grow in their craft. You get considered and constructive feedback that helps you develop as a writer as well as improving the quality of the deliverable, and there is always time made to discuss your work
    - Exceptionally supportive environment – there is a lot of interaction with your line managers on a regular basis, but in a two-way, conversational style, so that you always feel heard, and confident that everything is being done to meet your needs
    - It's a fun place to work, even when it's busy, with a great team spirit
    - There is great communication from management (at all levels) to the individual team members
    - Project allocations tend to be varied so that writers get exposure to different therapy areas, as well as styles of writing
    - Lots of cakes
    - Flexible working and duvet days (don't forget to use them!)
    - Senior management is always very appreciative of your hard work

    Kontras

    - Can be a lot to juggle as writers will work on a couple of accounts, each with different activities and deliverables (but the teams work together to be as flexible as possible). I would advise new starters to be comfortable and confident in having conversations with their teams about their workloads and deadlines, as everyone in the team is receptive to those type of conversations

    Rat an das Management

Continue to grow the team with great talent, filling gaps with external talent where necessary
