- Low salaries, limited promotion opportunities - dependent on team work can be stressful - old office building in Hamburg - impossible to work fully remotely - if you don't have AT LEAST completed master's degree (better PhD), it will be difficult/impossible to get in, to get promoted etc. Don't expect good salary in this case (thanks to IG-Metall contracts in Germany). If you are a software engineer with just a bachelor's degree, don't apply here - these salaries are a joke, you can do better in another company

NXP is great company with a clear mission to be the best semicon company in the industry. The salary is very good and there is flexibility in the working hours.

The workload is insane. If you don't have a manager who values and appreciates you, you quickly fine yourself in a burnout. My manager didn't support overtime compensation but put me under water with the tasks and expected me to perform tasks in a timely manner.
