Pros
Smart coworkers who got stuff done. Unlimited PTO and flexible working hours
Kontras
My time at MediaMath under Neil Nguyen's leadership was nothing short of a complete nightmare, exacerbated by two significant events that highlighted the lack of support and transparency. First, the unexpected layoffs in February 2023 left us reeling, disrupting our workflow and hindering the company's progress. To make matters worse, when the company eventually filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, we were shocked to find that there was no severance provided despite our dedication and hard work. This lack of consideration for the employees added insult to injury during this difficult time. Additionally, the delayed information on COBRA benefits further compounded our stress, leaving us in limbo and uncertain about our healthcare coverage. Neil Nguyen's inability to lead effectively and his disregard for the employees' well-being were evident throughout these challenging events, ultimately leading to the company's demise. Neil Nguyen's leadership at MediaMath was riddled with poor decision-making and a lack of support for the employees. Transparent communication, fair treatment, and proper support are essential for any organization's success, and regrettably, these qualities were severely lacking under Nguyen's leadership at MediaMath. If you are considering joining a company with Neil Nguyen in a leadership position, I strongly advise you to think twice.

Pros
I get a paycheck that is on time
Kontras
Company is currently in fight or flight mode and losing money. Company Layoffs. No pay raises or promotions in 3+ years. The platform's Technology is outdated and clientele/partners are frustrated. Directors & VPs in each department at MediaMath dont have enough experience to lead with efficiency. Lots of internal drama in client services organization due to the above. Great for college grads and junior "leaders"; Not great for seasoned or tenured employees looking for longterm employment. Expensive Healthcare plans and cheapskate benefits. No sabbatical plan any longer. Fake equity "plan"
