    Team atmosphere is fun. Everyone is motivating each other to be better. Great pay and medical benefits as well. Any accomplishment you hit, the company recognizes so your hard work never goes unnoticed. People want people to succeed here. Also they provide a great training program to teach you everything you need to know and help jumpstart you in your career here. You can make a lot of money here!

    Eliminate the layers between quality service from EA to customer and streamline the backend personel costs to save the balance sheets and reinvest/reallocate both financial and human assets where they are most profitable intentionally.

    Pros

    Just Energy has a 100% subsidiary in India called JEBPO Services LLP. They are not a BPO but name carries it. It is a captive , back-office for operations work that has been sent to India from US, UK, Canada, etc offices of Just Energy, typical in-sourced work, good US, Canada and US managers despite recent serious senior management churn

    India is 25 to 40 employees, no HR policy handbook, all India employees have concerns about LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) that Just Energy is called in India. Employees complain they have all work and managers from US and outside India but they are asked to report to local manager who has no proper experience or expertise to know their work in utility. Several employees did not get bank loans as banks have reservations giving loans to LLP company employees. Local senior management is liability. Travel ban has hurt project transition badly, tech -tools for operations are obsolete and lots of manual work required in Ops, prone to errors. There has been 6 malware attacks in last 5 months I worked there affecting several computers and loss of productivity for weeks , besides systems and client data risks. Some early employee churns affecting morale of employees.

    Send an old time Just Energy ex-pat to lead India operations. Ask HR and IT to directly report to HQ. Allow employees to directly report to their functional managers abroad and reduce complication and ambiguity for employees. Have a employee handbook for India.

    Pros

    Its an energetic and up beat office. If the job is out o fyour comfort zone, the manager at the Townson MD office will work with you. The job was easy.

    I was never told that I would be in door to door sales. I had to be in the office by 11am and we wouldnt be out of the field until 930PM. The scheduling made no sense. Its an extremely competitive field, everyone feels like they're better than you. You only had to work monday through thursday however the managers make you feel pressured into working monday through saturday even though it isnt mandatory. I was dropped off ALONE in sketchy neighborhoods where a group of men even ran up to me screaming and threatening me and no one in the office did anything about it. It takes four weeks before you even get your first paycheck.

    Be more honest when someone asks about their specific position, don't sugarcoat the job. Don't pressure people into working more than what is mandatory if they expressed from the beginning why they only want to work whats expected of them. Finally, make sure the areas you are dropping people off in are actually safe for them to be alone in, especially if they are small females.

    Directors micromanaged to the point their own work was never done. Verbally abusive, toxic environment, existing customers left when top sales people resigned. Promised commission if I closed deals but once closed "that's not in your contract". Directors would also lie about my performance when my monthly sales were higher than theirs.

    Realize directors have no clue how to run Terrapass or lead teams.

    Training isnt great, but it is compensated. Business practices are confusing technology programs are terrible.
