    Pros

    Every part of the interview process was extremely well thought out and honestly enjoyable from a candidate stand point. The team really puts the effort into understanding your baseline for Inbound and if a good fit after the initial video interview (worst, most awkward part for me) and phone screen making sure the candidate is set up for success when talking to a hiring manager.

    You definitely get put through the gambit during the onsite portion. I spoke to three managers and two directors in 30 minute sequential meetings. All were great, but particularly the Service Director. It really wasn’t an interview after the first minute or two of talking to him. It was a conversation, and an insightful, engaging one at that. A++

    From the minute you’re brought on, you have a huge wealth of freedom and autonomy to just get things.. done. Everyone deeply believes in the company and the product and I may have had one or the other in previous roles but rarely if ever both with other companies. Definitely cool.

    Training can at times lack structure. There were times during the two week training you would come in, have a session for an hour and have a blank calendar the rest of the day. Perfectly fine if you use good judgement (hint) but you may struggle if you’re not used to building out your own day or if you learn best in traditional student-teacher dynamic.

    Being more consistent with feedback. One-two pro tips can often be helpful but doesn’t always help explain the big picture behind why a certain tool works how it does or how we could best leverage and recognize specific situations for an individual customer. At the end of the day, I just want to get better and feedback could be more cohesive and plentiful at times.

    I'm honestly shocked and amazed how much I love my job and working for HubSpot.
    The opportunity to train in the head office in the US was fantastic, you really get sucked into the culture (a word I hate, but it's true). I also made great friends with other HubSpotters
    My team genuinely want me to succeed, they want me to do well for my benefit and theirs.
    Completely transparent, it's not just for show
    Humility is hugely appreciated and desired in all people - and in turn, everyone you work with is a genuine &nice person. Coming from a marketing/advertising background where people and companies are quite fake HubSpot is a breath of fresh air.
    I actually like coming to work every day

    some extra HR info when starting around pay dates etc would be great, this isn't easily found on the company info tool, but this is a teeny critic - literally, the only thing I could think of!

    Pros

    I have been at HubSpot for nearly a year and I have held off writing a review because to be honest I have been waiting for what I thought was the inevitable slip of the gorgeous, attractive mask but if anything it has only got better and better! Honestly! I geniunely love getting up for my job, I adore the people I work with and finally I feel like I work in a company that looks at me like a human rather than a number. There are so many pros...the benefits (unlimited holidays isnt a myth?!?! Seriously.), the people, the facilities, the opportunities to grow, the different projects, the challenging yet fair environment, did I say the people (?) and most definitely the support of management. A senior management team that actually listens?! Who knew?! I am so proud to work at HubSpot and from this cynic to the cynic reading this in a job where you are stressed out of your mind, there is light at the end of the tunnel just keep going! Times are changing in Ireland and I am so glad that I work in a company that I think are leading the way :)

    There is a really really sharp learning curve that can be totally overwhelming but in fairness management are realistic, fair and they listen - actively listen. I work in Support and the starting pay is not great but there are loads of opportunities to grow within the company - mainly outside of Support however.

    Keep doing what you are doing. Katie Burke and Kate Moran you are both goddesses for the culture you have built. Maybe find a way so that there aren't so many emails?? Or can I ask you to stop growing at such a crazy speed so I can keep up at the level I want?! (I want to have an indepth knowledge of everything...not asking much?)

    -- The only con that keeps me from giving this place a 5-stars, is the starting salary of $35,000 in Support. This salary is well below industry standards, especially in a place with a high-cost of living like Boston.
