      Mentorship is not prioritized at CHAI, nor is work-life balance. You need to recruit into a team that has decided it is prioritizing mentorship or you need to seek mentorship externally from your CHAI colleagues. In order to succeed, you must be willing to give your all to CHAI; however, in order to have longevity, you need to know how to have work-life balance and not get burnt out.       Emphasize mentorship. People are CHAI's greatest asset. Young, dedicated workers are leading most of the work. If these young individuals are not mentored and are not told to mentor their teams then these individuals, their teams and the organization as a whole will be stunted in the long-term. Mentorship is skill that is taught and it is an organization-wide value that needs to be prioritized.

      CHAI´s benefits are very good, above the standard. Also, there is a lot of interesting people to work with and in general, good people to be with.

      Poor induction process and employee oriented service. Most thing have to be learned alone and if you don´t know what to ask, you can really have a bad time trying to figure out things. Management style of some demonstrates lack of knowledge in that area. Arrogance can be felt among many.

      CHAI presents a great opportunity for entry level employees to gain vast experience and grow when compared with some of the typical NGOs

      The organization has grown significantly and is currently trying to change to accommodate this. This change has unfortunately created some bureaucracy that slows down the fast-paced, pro-active nature CHAI was previously well known for.
