Amazing people to work with. This is truly a place where strangers become friends, and friends become family. Retirement and health benefits are amazing. The union is good too.

Too much mandatory overtime. Inhumane working conditions, sometimes you have to literally fight with your supervisor to get your lunch break. Your voice will be censored when you speak the truth about working conditions on social media. Constant threats and intimidation of termination when there's a station emergency declared because there's a lot of people that called out sick. If you literally have no life outside of work then this is the place for you. You will sometimes work 18 hours a day, 6 days a week. I'm not even kidding you. They don't care about how much rest you get. They truly don't care about your safety. They say they do. But they only care when it's convenient for the company. Pay is an absolute joke. You don't make a decent wage until you top out in 11 years.
