SourceCode works with some impressive clients, but unfortunately, the internal structure doesn’t support the scale of work they take on. Leadership often bites off more than they can chew when bringing in large, demanding accounts, leaving mid-level and junior staff to absorb the overflow and essentially do all of the hard work. The team is simply not large or equipped enough to handle the workload that comes with these clients, resulting in constant stress and burnout. Work-life balance is poor, with late nights and weekend work subtly expected. Processes are disorganized and very inefficient, with some managers only delegating rather than collaborating and carrying their weight. Proper guidance from management is lacking, the turnover is bad and so are the salaries in relation to how much work is expected. Overall, the environment is stressful and unsustainable for those seeking balance and growth.
