Pros
- Wonderful remote-first culture that offers flexibility. Taking last-minute time off for 'life' stuff or needing to step away from your desk for an hour or 2 is not an issue
- The PRODUCTS! They work. And they're great.
Kontras
Growth here feels next to impossible, and the favoritism is hard to ignore. Since I started, someone who was hired around the same time as me has been reactively promoted three times only because people above them left. For the rest of us, getting promoted feels like yelling into a void. You can advocate for yourself all you want but promotions are gatekept by VPs. If they don't know or like you, good luck.
VP leadership is not great. They’re overly involved to the point of micromanaging, yet somehow still completely out of touch. Feedback is vague (if it comes at all), so when review season rolls around, any “constructive” criticism is usually a surprise. They’re always hovering, but never actually available and definitely not approachable.
