Software development is on relatively newer tech stacks. Pay is decent, new office buildings, and good office location.

Some teams are faster paced than others e.g. aggressive timelines by upper management for software delivery. Strict in office/hybrid attendance that is tracked weekly (3 days on and 2 days wfh). Parking in garages is difficult if you do not come early. Traffic can be challenging in mornings creating long commute times, including having to park on 6th or 7th floor of the garage even if you live close by. Performance metrics are not straightforward, par the course for a bank/financial institution as they're more aligned to business/financial verbiage and goals. Cafeteria on site has decent food options but still expensive as there is no discount for employees. Not much diversity on tech side(iykyk). Secret layoffs done at random intervals throughout the year, managers instructed to tell direct reports to keep quiet and not say anything.
