Charter trips, work availability (depends on location), work schedule. This job follows school schedule and makes decent supplemental income. They cover cost of licensing and certification.

Pay (locations vary), gets mundane, policies that make no sense, upper management, failing fleet that flips FS safety policies on its head. No incentives/retainer also no advancement other than capping at senior pay. "Do as we say not as we do" vibe. CYA company!!!
