The recruitment process was smooth and very professional throughout. Meeting a lot of interesting people and the community events that are run. The shop floor colleagues are by and large great and really try to give their best every day.
Kontras
Some store manager encourage a culture of department managers not leaving until they do. This meant I ended up working 18 hour days at least 2 - 3 times a week. If you ignored this unspoken rule your department would be 'walked' the next day and a multitude of mistakes found. Department managers are encouraged to bully the colleagues in their department in order to meet excessive targets.
