Ich habe in Vollzeit bei 4mediarelations gearbeitet (mehr als ein Jahr)

    Pros

Sometimes they buy milk for the tea

    Kontras

Churned out campaigns, unoriginal content, lazy PR, no team culture, no innovation and if you want to push yourself or express any creativity, you will be shut down. No benefits. Senior management uninspiring and relunctant to change and be a forward-thinking PR agency. The sales team is bigger than the media team. This is a sales job. If your ambition is to work in a call centre then this is for you. Although a call centre may have a nicer culture and atmosphere.

    Rat an das Management

When I joined 4media I was not welcomed with drinks or given any opportunity to mix with the 'team', try adding some culture & building a team network. There are no benefits, no flexibility, no reward for working here (even the salary left a lot to be desired). If you want to do 3 campaigns a week on seatbelts then by all means work here. PR should be forward-thinking, fun & give clients the opportunity to stand-out amongst a congested space. I think 4media aim to congest the space, clogging up broadcast with the same campaigns, same story, same spokespeople and same media targets. A little creativity and passion would go a long way.

    Pros

    - Meet the occasional "celebrity"...by celebrity a z lister who may have been on some nature programme
    - Great location and nice office
    - Commission (though minimal)
    - Relatively okay social scene if you fit in with the clique

    Kontras

    WHERE DO I START?!

Extremely long hours and terribly inadequate training. You were told to make loads of calls a day on your own call sheet. This list would be full of absolute randomers who you would have to lie to by saying it's a great service...it is not.

Be it a competition or slight mention...yet you were asking people to pay X amount of thousands to get absolute rubbish. There is barely a brand mention, it would be the presenter on the radio saying x from x is on the phone...£4000 to say that...don't be so silly!

Also those younger, both working on NDN and 4media are forced to do boring tasks, with no excitement. Sitting in the office all day making calls and not using your creative mind.

SO BORING. do not work here please. they will sell it as something exciting...they are sales people that's what they do. If you want to go into sales work someone more buzzing and exciting, not here.

POOR commission structure, and no vibes in the office or rewards.

oh and clear favourites. staff who have been there a while are even miserable, although not many have, massive staff turnover!

    Rat an das Management

More excitement, better training, bring the junior staff along to meetings and get them involved rather than have them sit at their phone all day bored out their minds

    Pros

There are some really nice people who work there but also leave quickly.

    Kontras

Damp offices. All the praise and money goes to the sales team who sell unrealistic expectations to clients and expect the non sales team to come up with the goods. No bonuses or OTE for non sales staff (who do all the real work). No real chance for progression or training.

    Rat an das Management

Praise and reward the staff who actually deliver your campaigns, not just the ones who sell them.

Ich arbeite in Vollzeit bei 4mediarelations (Über 5 Jahre)

    Pros

Great working environment where your colleagues are your friends. The atmosphere is creative and energetic and there is always a helping hand when you need one. You seldom have to work long hours. Line Managers are very approachable and there are lots of company events and staff incentives to keep the team spirits up!

    Kontras

The previous office was a bit cramped but now we have moved to a much larger premises.

    Rat an das Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Fantastic place with real people who take an interest in the growth and development of the business.

    Pros

Forward thinking, great leadership. Great culture

    Kontras

    Pros

A close knit team that cares about staff and works hard to help employees move their career in a direction that suits the individual.
The work ethics are forward thinking, problem solving, making things happen.
Senior management are approachable, understanding and hands on all of which helps the team deliver excellent results for clients.

    Kontras

High expectations! Staff are required to put in what it takes to deliver which can mean going the extra mile and working through lunch or overtime.

    Rat an das Management

encourage staff to be more forthcoming with suggestions that benefit the team and company culture

    Pros

You will meet a few nice people to work with.
They have a 'pizza' day at the end of every month, but its not actually pizza its just food.
Office culture is close knit which can be nice if you meet the right people and belong in the group.

    Kontras

Many challenges of working here, a lack of motivation and recognition when somebody works hard or tries.
Consistent problems with software and lack of computers.
Hygiene is very bad, from experience of working there lots of cups get left around for days...even weeks to be quite direct and honest.
Not enough diversity of ethnic groups.
Unfortunately there is favouritism for employees, and this can be a horrible experience if you do not categorise in this.
Lots of backtalk and behind your back things are said!
    Lack of creativity!
Owner very arrogant, so be careful.
Very tight on money, steer clear.

    Rat an das Management

Need to get more ethnic groups in
Need to give people a chance more and be open to ideas
Train your employees and stop being so cheap. They do not even pay interns , but only cover a particular zone as I have noticed over time for different interns. So pay your interns.
    Gain some humanity.
