Front line management will try to accommodate you to the best of their ability even with their hands tied by senior team.
Enjoyable environment to work in, customers make it worth it!
The times I did not feel trusted it was hell, this mistrust was no fault of mine! It was due to front line managers and senior staff butting heads power struggles ensue.
Too many graduate senior staff threw into positions they have no idea how to deal with, zero life or work experience recipe for disaster.
Condescension and belittling of staff due to the inability of the senior team to realise the value of staff members.
Rat an das Management
Stop managing and start leading, do not tell members of staff they are too slow if you yourself move like molasses.
Take more heed of your staff and their ideas, try in small part to implement them, even if the Tesco way impedes you; this builds trust and makes a worker feel valued.
Realise that some of your subordinates may actually have more experience than you do, your position does not make you superior in any way.
Stop placing graduates above Managers with 10/20 years experience!!!!!!
